Gas Asset Migration Project

Q4 Power (TXUN's Gas asset and maintenance management system), was implemented for use by all TXU and Abigroup clients, by mid morning on April 9. TXUN and TATE Associates successfully carried out the implementation. The project to replace existing gas legacy databases (DIS, MARS, Regsdb, Valvesdb and RTUdb) with Q4Power was completed over a period of five months. It included the conversion of over 200,000 asset records. The planned savings from the replacement of DIS and MARS were successfully achieved. The completion of the project was an excellent result for TXUN and a great achievement by everyone from TATE Associates, GE Smallworld and TXU, who participated in the project Thanks to all.
