Once implementation is complete you will move into the Support stage of the project. Further improvements will be made to the system as time goes on, procedures will be improved, new requirements will be identified, staff will have to be trained and supported etc

A good system will constantly be evolving to reflect changing business requirements in an ever-changing world. A lot of work is still required to keep things moving in the right direction.
