Using Barcoding for Stock-Takes and Counts

• Use the familiar and powerful functions in Q4 Power to define and activate a Stock-take on all or any stock items
• Use the Q4 StockTake PC tool to transfer any selected, active stock-take to a handheld device
• Conduct a stock-take using the handheld’s integral bar-code reader to identify items under check and manually enter stock quantities
• Use the Q4 StockTake PC tool to upload results to Q4 Power for processing

Powerful control of dispatch and update

• Select any active Q4 Power stock-take for transfer to the handheld
• Repeat the transfer as often as required to the same or different handheld devices
• Update Q4 Power with complete or incomplete results at any time
• Mix results from Q4 StockTake with manually entered figures in Q4 Power

Ease of Use

• Capture the stock item through a single barcode scan
• Eliminate checking the wrong items. The system will not allow scanning of items that are not actively under stock-take. Confirm stock descriptions before entering the current level
• Work quickly – the only key presses required are to action a scan and then enter the current stock level
